Jerry has over 35 years of Financial Management, Accounting and Business experience in both a large corporate environment and in small business. His experience includes assignments in a variety of functional areas, having served in numerous management, senior management and officer level positions. Jerry is a former small business owner and has served as a counselor and Chairman of the Nashville Chapter of SCORE,              volunteer small business counselors. Jerry's extensive corporate and small business experience combined with professional financial knowledge and training allow him to bring a business perspective and a seasoned insight to small business financial management.

Certified Financial Planner-Provided  comprehensive business and personal  financial planning and investment management services to small business owners.

Corporate Assignments with a Fortune 50 Size Company:

Project Director-Led a large scale($120M), multi-year project to create a Financial Shared Services Company.

Treasurer and Corporate Secretary-Responsible for planning and executing the financing plan for funding the company operations, managing a $7B debt portfolio, and managing corporate board/corporate governance functions.

General Manager-Comptrollers- esponsible for directing accounting and finance operations for the company.

Other Assignments-Held various positions with increasing levels of responsibility including assignments in Accounting, Treasury, Strategic Planning and Information Technology.

Patrick Robinson, a founding partner of Robinson Financial Group, has a wide range of financial and business experience gained in both private industry and public accounting. As a senior accountant for a large, publicly traded retail company, he was responsible for the preparation and review of the company’s Securities and Exchange reports (10Q, 10K, 8K), preparation of the company’s monthly internal financial reporting package and the month end close process. In addition, he analyzed and interpreted the results of Profit & Loss reports at the company level and individual store level for senior company management and store management. Patrick served as an internal auditor and was responsible for reviewing and strengthening operational and financial controls, especially inventory control and cash handling. As a public accounting associate, Patrick was responsible for providing monthly accounting/bookkeeping services to small business clients as well as performing audit and tax functions. As a computer network administrator for a regional transportation company, Patrick provided technical hardware, software and network support for the headquarters and remote offices.
 
Patrick is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. His public and private business experience coupled with his strong technical financial and computer expertise enables him to bring a broad skill set to the resolution of small business financial management issues.
